Flying Inspire 2 over the years taught us about it’s limits, but there are simple ways to improve a little this old, but still very capable drone
Original Inspire 2 batteries – TB50 – are generally good, but they are expensive, especially considering how cheap you can get one used Inspire 2. Also, they are not too powerful – discharge rate is pretty low and it means in some demanding situations power may be reduced, with sad consequences – whether it’s missed shot or ferry that sailed away because your drone was protecting batteries… That’s where our “caddies” project started – read here
Sometimes DP’s want to film the ceiling or generally you want to look upwards – obviously it’s not possible with regular Inspire 2. For that there is also solution – still prototype, but working way to mount camera on top – read here
